it's a new year, ladies and gentlemen! what does this all mean?
serena van der woodsen has just returned from her trip to buenos aires. she was spotted living it up at all the best entertainment spots in the foreign city-- sans aaron rose. could this mean there's still a chance for lonely boy?

dan humphrey had been busy doing... humphrey-type stuff with his nobody-sister jenny. if you ask me, i miss the days when little j would create news-worthy drama. well, what else can you expect of a brooklynite? once they go bad, they always go back.

if there is one person we wish would come back, it's dear charles bass. where could out notorious bad boy be? last we saw him, the poor thing was wasted at a bar mourning the death of daddy dearest and showcasing his hidden mommy issues with lily bass. come back, dear chuck. the upper east side is somewhat dull without you.

nate has been having a lovely new year with (gag me) vanessa abrams. really, we all knew something was wrong with him when he started hanging out with lonely boy. well, now that he's shown to be a brooklynite at heart, we're just wondering whether he'll go back to sleeping with beauty queens, cheating on powerful girlfriends, or punching his best friends. we certainly hope so. because charitable nathaniel archibald is a big snooze fest.

blair, on the other hand, has been a bumbling busy bee lately. she's been seen making mysterious phone calls, and she seems to be in a hurry to get somewhere a lot lately. could she be on the hunt for a certain fallen bad boy? we really do miss our daily dose of b/c drama.

strangely, the queen wannabes in queen b's posse have proven to be way more noteworthy than our usual upper east siders. they've been spotted at so many places, yours truly hasn't been able to keep up. alright... maybe not that many places. we just wonder how they will react when they find out little j will once again be roaming the halls of constance.
